    Luis Castaneda

    Born in 1943, in Havana Cuba, Luis Casteneda worked as a photographer throughout his 20s for Ballet National de Cuba, Teatro Musical de La Habana and the Ministry of Culture. In 1979 he moved to Spain and joined the Image Bank stock photography agency. This led to extensive travel through Europe, freelancing for many Spanish publications and several Government Agencies including the Ministry of Tourism. He received the "Ortiz-Echagüe" Award for his tourism-oriented photographs.

    From 1986 to 2002 Louis traveled to the USA, where he worked with cultural organizations including The Miami City Ballet, Ballet Concerto, and Ballet Etudes of South Florida. After publishing two books, preparing many national and international exhibitions and conducting conferences and workshops, his work received numerous awards. During Photokina in Cologne, Germany (1999), he was invited to join the Gruppo Fotografico Leica of Italy. Leica, Panasonic, Minox and Hasselblad have all used his photographs in their publications.

    Mark Chilvers

    Mark Chilvers studied photography at the University of Brighton after travelling extensively in his early 20s around India and South East Asia. Following his degree Mark moved to London where he gained experience as an assistant with some of London's top fashion photographers before gaining the prestigious internship at The Independent newspaper, followed by a promotion to staff photographer for a further year. Mark has now been a successful freelance photographer for the past seven years and works for many different newspapers and magazines both at home and abroad specialising in travel and sports features and portrait photography. This summer, Mark will be taking a month out to teach photography workshops to local residents and children on a south London housing estate near to where he lives as part of an ongoing project recording the changing face of urban life in this part of London.

    Fred Flade

    Fred Flade is creative director and founding partner of digital creative agency de- construct. He is responsible for the integration of graphic and interaction design across all digital platforms. His characteristically strong graphic and seamless interactive design work led to award-winning projects such as the Frost site and OneMusic site, as well as the highly acclaimed Barbican site. Prior to founding de- construct Fred Flade was a design director of Deepend London. Fred has studied Marketing Communication at the Bavarian Academy of Advertising (BAW) in Munich, Germany and holds a degree in Visual Communication Design from Ravensbourne College.

    Jonathan Evans

    London based freelance Photographer publishing worldwide in titles including Vanity Fair, The Guardian, The Independent, The Independent on Sunday Magazine. Commercial clients include: British Telecom, Panasonic, Citigroup, The BMA and the GMC. Fifteen years as a professional photographer working exclusively for National and International titles. Seven years (2000-2007) as a staff photographer for The Independent Newspaper, previously on contract to the Reuters agency which followed The Daily Express Newspaper.

    Awards:
    In 2000/1 Jonathan was named photographer of the year at The Picture Editors’ Awards. "Established to recognise and reward the very best of photographic journalism throughout the UK and Ireland, and to promote the interests of press photography " the Award’s were founded by a group of newspaper picture editors in 1993.
